Welcome back, Nerds! Today, I am thrilled to share with you a post by the lovely Jordandené! Jordan is a blogger and entrepreneur who produces some of the coolest, cutest geeky apparel. If you’re intrigued, you should be! You can find her shop here. Jordan has expertly compiled various convention style looks to help you look your best for C2E2. So, without further ado, take it away, Jordan!
Essential Con Style Guide–by Jordandené
In the past three years, I’ve been to sixteen conventions (C2E2 will be my seventeenth), and I’ve definitely learned the importance of a good outfit.
Thanks to so many cute geek chic brands, it’s easier than ever to dress comfortably and adorably nerdy at any convention. Here are three of my favorite options:
1. Practically nerdy
Sometimes you just want to be comfortable. Picking good shoes is definitely key for any convention outfit. You’ll spend so much time on your feet, standing in lines and walking through artist alley, and a pair of supportive sneakers will save your life. Add a sweatshirt (some rooms can be chilly!) and a cute book bag filled with the essentials (water bottle, snacks, body spray), and you’re good to go.
2. Fancy Dress
Wearing a cute dress can make you feel adorable and stand out from the crowd. I love Black Milk Clothing’s options for stretchy, geeky dresses. Add a pair of comfy wedges (I prefer TOM’s), leggings (in case you need to sit on the floor), and a cardigan (remember cold rooms!), and you’re all set. Toss a pair of flats into a large tote bag for extra points.
3. Comfy + Current
Get the best of both worlds by pairing a cute geeky tank with a knee-length skirt and knee-high socks. You’ll still want comfortable shoes, like Converse, to keep your feet from hating you by the end of the day. I really recommend a large over-the-shoulder bag for carrying art prints and autographs, and make sure you don’t forget your camera!
And there you have it!
Aren’t these outfits
soooooo cute?? HUGE shoutout to Jordandené! If you’re ready to follow the Jordandené fandom, then check out her

I am a casual observer, consumer, and lover of geek and nerd cultures. When I'm not working, I'm crafting a costume, watching movies and TV shows, writing, and secretly moonlighting as Batgirl. My motto is "to live each day as nerdily as possible," and that's what I want to reflect here. In the end, why lie to yourself? We're all nerds, so let's embrace it! Even if no one understands that reference.
Here on Nerd∙ily, I try to make that motto a reality with every post. If a nerdy day consists of reading comics, working on a DIY, bingeing a beloved show, cosplaying, or anything in between, then Nerd∙ily has you covered! With a post at least once a week, the limit does not exist to all of the nerdy possibilities. So, follow the fandom, and welcome to Nerd∙ily!
