A few years ago, when I studied abroad in England, I became friends with a Welsh guy named Josh. Even though we’re so far away from each other now, we still remain really good friends. While I was abroad, I introduced him to the BBC Sherlock series (because I was in England, so why not?). During my three-month stay, we nearly finished the first season. That was almost two years ago. Since then, he hasn’t kept up with the show.
Until this past weekend, that is, when he finally got through the second season.
More importantly for this story, he got to watch the last episode of that season: “The Reichenbach Fall.” If you’re not familiar with this particular episode of Sherlock, then let’s just say that it’s a pretty pivotal part in the storyline.
Also, go watch it! What are you doing with your life?
As he watched “The Reichenbach Fall,” he messaged me on Facebook, and kept be up-to-date with where he was in the episode.

But the normalcy subsided when the first blindside arrived:

I soon got the jitters because I knew–deep down in my soul–where all this would lead.

Then things inevitably took a turn:
Finally, it all came to a head:
But, even after all that turmoil, my friend finally succumbed to the Fandom:
Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for better commentary on this episode. And I’m not just saying that to make fun of my friend, I was truly entertained. I am also excited for him that he finally got the chance to jump on the bandwagon. Let’s see how season three goes for him!
xDDD Funny! Love Sherlock as well! 😀
