C2E2, Free Comic Book Day…these events and more to come in the Spring!
See that, kids? That’s called misdirection.
In the meantime, let’s talk about a very exciting upcoming event: the Oscars. Normally, I could care less about the Oscars–it’s just the crown jewel in a string of 4 billion award shows that do the exact same thing each time. And no, really, I could care less about what any of the celebrities wear on the red carpet.

But this year, there’s an exception.
A few weeks ago, I stated in a post that Michael Keaton was my favorite actor to portray Batman. well, Keaton’s back in a new–and Oscar nominated–movie called Birdman. The movie revolves around Keaton’s character, an actor who once played a famous superhero named Birdman. But Keaton’s character is all washed up, and trying to make a comeback.
Keaton is nominated for Best Actor in a Feature Film for Birdman, and the film itself is nominated for a slew of Oscars, including Best Picture. Personally, I think it has something to do with Keaton’s eyebrows.

Also, I’m really looking forward to who Benedict Cumberbatch is going to photobomb this year, because, yeah…that’s what’s really important.

Expect an oh-so special edition of my very first live-tweet for The Oscars, on February 22nd.
